This summer opportunity is open to graduate-level candidates, including those in the process of earning a BS, MS, or Ph.D. degree in a technical field such as Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.

 

The specific summer assignment could include research on deep learning architectures, adversarial learning, reinforcement learning, graph analytics, natural language processing or computer vision. Candidates should have exposure to a variety of techniques, including machine learning methods. Specific coursework or experience with computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning or graph algorithms is desired, as is knowledge of Matlab or Python programming and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch and/or OpenAI Gym libraries. Each selected intern will be mentored by a staff member and placed in a team to conduct research and development in one of the above and other related areas. Summer interns will participate fully in our group’s activities, which include many educational opportunities.

Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
