Division 10, the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Tactical Systems Division conducts research and development into advanced sensing concepts, signal and image processing, high performance computing, networked sensor architectures, and decisions sciences. The Division does assessments of novel technologies and system concepts in solution of significant defense and where appropriate, rapidly develops prototype solutions to demonstrate concepts. There are significant efforts on air defense issues, in particular, air vehicle survivability, vulnerability of United States Air Force (USAF) aircraft to weapons systems, electronic countermeasures, and air surveillance for homeland defense through tests and measurements and techncial analyses. The division is comprised on seven technical groups performing this variety of technical efforts, each with a dedicated business manager who handles financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as various projects and logistics as needed.
Job Description
The ISR and Tactical Systems Division currently has an open Co-op position for business and financial analysis. The candidate will be a member of the Business Manager Team and will work across several groups, attend meetings and receive required training in business systems and the Laboratory's process and procedures. This individual will assist various aspects of the Business Manager daily workload as well as take on special projects as assigned. The selected candidate will perform the required administrative tasks, research and data analysis to aid the technical staff with planning and execution of projects. Candidate will support assigned special projects as needed. This individual must have strong business acumen and analytical skills in addition to demonstrated experience working with various types of data using spreadsheets and other business applications.
