The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group performs analysis and develops technology to defend America, our military personnel, and our allies from missile and drone threats. Job Description
The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group (Group 36) is looking for an analyst for algorithm/architecture design, system analysis and performance trade-off, sensor data analysis and testing for several missile and drone defense systems and/or an advanced decision architecture project for the U.S. Armed Services and the Missile Defense Agency. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of application programs for decision support, data reduction and analysis of recorded and simulated sensor data, and defense system performance optimization.
The successful candidate will work on the development and evaluation of new techniques for missile and drone defense systems. Work will involve support in the development of data analysis in areas that include signal processing and detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence, multiple target tracking, advanced decision architecture, weapon/sensor management, and system performance optimization for currently deployed and future missile defense systems.
Requirements:
MS in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Physics, Applied Mathematics, System Science and Engineering, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience. The candidate must be able to work on a broad range of problems. A candidate with background in signal processing, data analysis, familiar with MATLAB and other scientific programming is desired. Ability to communicate well in both written and oral fashion is required.
Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $116,400 - $140,000
Experienced Hiring Range: $116,400 - $182,200
