Overview

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Team Lead to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will possess an expert understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and will drive the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies. This role is crucial in attracting top-tier talent to support our cutting-edge research and development initiatives and will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition & HR Operations. Responsibilities may include:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the recruitment team.
    • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to ensure individual and team goals are met.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Selection:
    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Build a strong talent pipeline through various sourcing methods, including networking, social media, and partnerships with educational institutions.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Implement best practices in diversity and inclusion to attract a diverse talent pool.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Work with our HRIS tools and team to track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.
    • Use insights from data to recommend improvements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Proven track record of leading development and executing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), ideally SuccessFactors.
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills and ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity and experience with cutting edge sourcing and recruitment tools such as SeekOut, LinkedIn Recruiter, including CRM tools and resources to generate pipelines.
