Job Description

 

The LLSC seeks talented individuals with a strong science or engineering background and a passion for supercomputing.  Individuals who bring novel ideas and technical vision incorporating supercomputing have significant autonomy in defining their research agenda.  LLSC staff work alongside world-leading experts in a variety of domains. Individuals with diverse technical interests tied together by mathematical or computing foundations will be able to deploy developed tools to a wide variety of problems that directly impact the Nations' most challenging problems.  LLSC staff lead teams comprised of other staff colleagues, postdoctoral associates, and graduate and undergraduate students that span many departments and laboratories across MIT.

 

Requirements

 

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. In lieu of a PhD, an MS in the above areas with a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience will be considered.
