Technician A (I.C.) 1st Shift (Monday through Friday Schedule 6:30am - 3:00pm)

 

Candidate will work in the class 10 clean room of the Microelectronics Laboratory supporting a broad range of activities in the Advanced Technology Division, which produces semiconductor prototype devices, supporting a wide variety of sponsored programs. Primary responsibility will be to monitor, prioritize, and process all work in progress within a specific process area and to provide clear and accurate inter-shift pass-down of such work. Specific process areas inside the Microelectronics Laboratory could include Wet and Dry Etch, Diffusion, Photolithography, CMP, Films and related metrology. The goal of this position is to produce completed wafers with excellent quality and low cycle time. Additional responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: Perform SPC tasks and monitor and respond appropriately to data, interface with Program Originators on research projects and support the development of new processes.

Qualifications required of applicant:

• Graduation from a two-year day technical school or its equivalent and a minimum of two years of applicable experience are required.

 

Experience:

• Candidate must have at least two years of experience operating semiconductor processing equipment in a semiconductor fabrication facility.

• Knowledge of various semiconductor related metrology tools would be beneficial.

 

Skills:

• Candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Able to follow process instructions accurately and consistently, with minimal supervision.

• This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment advancing the state of the art and creating highly innovative semiconductor devices.

• The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a solid work ethic.

• Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills

• The candidate will document tool operation via SOP's.

• Reliable (Solid attendance)

• Operate a variety of semiconductor processing equipment.

• Understand equipment operation and be able to identify potential problems with the equipment through observation and to escalate resolution to the next level.

• Work with process engineering to learn newly installed tools and processes

Hiring Range: $38.53 - $42.92
