Our core mechanical competencies span precision fabrication, diamond turning, EDM machining, additive manufacturing, and 5-axis machining. Our core assembly, integration, and test capabilities include program integration spaces, cleanrooms, vibration testing, and space simulation chambers. The Group concentrates on high-complexity parts, state-of-practice prototyping capabilities, technical excellence, quality systems for national security applications, and exceptional collaboration.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a talented, creative, and motivated individual with a strong aptitude for problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and time management skills with an enthusiasm, aptitude and willingness to learn and advance their skillsets. The candidate will also be responsible for programming, setup, operation, teardown, cleanup and maintaining equipment while keeping a clean and organized work space. The position may occasionally require working extended hours (overtime) as required to meet important program milestones. While the immediate need is to fill an open position focused on milling, a motivated candidate will have opportunities to expand their skillsets through advanced training as well as learning new technologies, such as; additive manufacturing (metal and polymer), electrical discharge machining (EDM), diamond turning, etc...

Requirements

    Direct experience in milling and turning manufacturing technologies
    Under supervision works from blue prints, specifications, detailed verbal instructions, or detailed sketches
    Able to use basic machine shop math
    Under supervision set up and operates machine tools
    May work on routine tasks for periods of time without supervision

 

Desired Skills:

    Graduation from a two-year technical school or STEM degree
    Exposure to other manufacturing technologies and processes

 

Hiring Range: $33.18 - $37.73
